Foundation Year 2-Programme Allocations 2009

The NETFS F2 August 2009 allocations have now been released via an email confirmation to trainee doctors. All applications for Special Circumstances were taken into consideration and all eligible F1 Doctors have now been allocated to an F2 post.

Any vacant F2 posts will be initially allocated to approved external Foundation Doctor Transfers or NETFS Doctors who are required to repeat their F2 year.

Should any F2 posts remain vacant thereafter, the posts will be released to the relevant trusts to recruit to directly as F2 stand alone posts.

Please note

As an F1 Doctor, if you were appointed to the Foundation School via the National Allocation System and you decide to apply for an F2 stand alone post, you will be required to resign from your allocated F2 post within the Foundation School upon completion of your F1 programme.
