Trust Information Day

THE NORTH EAST THAMES FOUNDATION SCHOOL

AN OPEN DAY FOR INCOMING FOUNDATION DOCTORS

The NETFS are holding a Trust Information Day for those final year medical students who are successfully matched to the NETFS for their Foundation Training. The event is to give you the opportunity to meet with our nine associated Trusts before you make your programme preferences. 

All trusts are to give a short ten minute presentation on their organisation, the opportunities that are available when undertaking foundation training with them and to also have a stand where you can ask questions and gain further information. There will also be opportunities to hear from current Foundation Doctors about what life is really like as a Newly Qualified Doctor. Details of the event are as follows:

Time:  1.00pm lunch, registration and looking at stands

1.45pm start of talks

2.45pm break

3.00pm talks

4.00pm looking at stands

4.45pm / 5 pm close

Location:      The Great Hall

                        Peoples Palace

                        Queen Mary University of London

                        Mile End (Nearest tube is Mile End)

We hope that an afternoon event will help accommodate those students whom need to travel a longer distance. Once your application results are available, we will send a further email with information for the day.
