North East Thames Foundation School was established by the London Deanery in collaboration with Barts and The London, Queen Mary’s School of Medicine & Dentistry and The East of England Deanery. Foundation programme training comprises of a two year linked programme (F1 and F2) for doctors after leaving medical school. It is designed to give Foundation Doctors a range of experience before choosing an area of medicine in which to specialise and delivers an integrated educational programme with defined outcomes.
